At Meat London we believe that too much emphasis has been placed on producing ‘cheap’ Poultry and not enough on flavour and quality. With this in mind we seek out birds that enjoy a better quality of life and slower growth to ensure that what we sell will taste like Poultry should.
Packington Chickens from the natural English pasture lands of Staffordshire are reared in low stock numbers and allowed to roam free in 30 acres of pastures and woodland ensuring a stress free existence and as much natural feed as possible. Our birds have their feed supplemented with only the finest maize and Omega 3 rich corn.
At festive times we source Turkeys, Geese and Cockerels from Blackwells Farm and Salix Farm, both in Essex. Both farms concentrate on Free Ranging birds, allowed to roam and feed naturally, ensuring slower growth and encouraging deeper, stronger flavours .
