WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU REMEMBER EATING?

Plasmon – A baby biscuit, which was given to  me by my mother

WHO HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON WHAT YOU EAT?

An ex-boss from when I was 16 years old. He cooked a lot of food and it was the first time that I got to cook and understand food. I wasn’t often allowed in Mum’s kitchen.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING YOU COOKED FOR A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND?

A Pasta dish of Tagliatelle, with veal, mushrooms, white wine and cream that I cooked at a dates house. It must have been Ok as she became my girlfriend.

WHO WOULD BE YOUR DREAM DINNER DATE?

Buddah – I would be interested to hear his views on modern life.

WHAT WOULD YOU COOK?

Probably a vegetarian dish. I would need to do some research as it’s not my speciality.

WHAT FOOD WOULD YOU MISS MOST IF YOU COULD NEVER HAVE IT AGAIN?

Salami and tomatoes.

DO YOU TAKE FOOD IN YOUR CASE WHEN YOU GO ON HOLIDAY?

No – I sometimes take snacks for the aeroplane.

WHAT WOULD YOU COOK FOR ME IF YOU NEEDED TO SAVE YOUR JOB?

Onglet with a bone marrow sauce, on a bed of creamy mashed potato. A nice pint of beer to wash it down.
